Responsibilities:
Operate a stand-up forklift to unload trailers, load trailers, and pull orders.
Major Responsibilities
1. Complete forklift preventative maintenance checklist.
2. Operate a stand-up forklift safely, following all safety rules and regulations, for the entire shift.
3. Shipping - Receive orders to load from the Shipping Supervisor, locate the order in the staging lanes and load the entire order accurately.
4. Receiving – unload trailers and put away product accurately and safely.
5. Perform other duties such as labeling, housekeeping, and maintaining skid trailers as assigned.
6. Communicate any issues with the department supervisor.
Skills Required:
1. Time Management: ensure day to day activities are accomplished in allotted amount of time.
2. Communication: professionally interact with team members and supervisors.
3. Forklift: experience operating a forklift, stand-up experience preferred.
Physical Demands
1. This is a Safety Sensitive position
2. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
3. Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
4. Ability to walk, bend, twist and lift above the head, as needed.
Additionally:
- Abiding by GMP to ensure safety and quality
- Arrive to work on time and work the full shift
- Work on an assembly line to package and ship food products
